This was the first wedding I booked all on my own! I will always hold this couple close to my heart.
Before this, I had only 2nd shot 1 wedding AND THEY KNEW THIS, Y’ALL so them trusting me so much and giving me creative freedom but also being honest with what they were expecting was priceless for a photographer that was just starting out. These are a few of my favorites from their special day. Enjoy!
Amanda had a reception dress and the second dress was paired with a crown. I mean… Yes girl!
If it’s not already apparent. My favorite thing to shoot in a wedding are the details. I am the queen of detail shots.
I understand, being a woman, being a former bride, I know HOW MUCH TIME I put into the details. And for them to be forgotten. Not. On. My. Watch.
I’ll probably eventually print this one out because it’s definitive of the type of work I’m looking to shoot. The one thing people consistently ask about this shot is if her dress is a high-low dress. It’s not. But I can’t wait to photograph a bride that is sassy enough to wear one!
Oh hi, that’s my husband ^^
Sometimes a grooms reaction is uncontrollable crying and sometimes its a super sweet sappy smile like this one on Ram.
Architecture photography has my heart.
I have to say Catholic weddings are a bit of challenge. I wasn’t allowed to photograph in the middle during a lot of the ceremony. Catholic churches are very beautiful but they have tons of rules and restrictions! I had to get creative with the angles at times!
Ram did a father-daughter dance to Baby Shark and we all D’awwww’d
I’d blow this one up if this was me and my daughter.
I’ve seen a lot of growth in my work since this wedding but it will always hold a special place with me. Also, I want the keep shooting the kinds of brides that are like, Hey! take a pic of my dirty feet! Haha!
