I’m OBSESSED with vintage wedding dresses. If I could pick a ridiculous dream job. Ya know, the kind that would NEVER HAPPEN. That type of ridiculous. It would be vintage wedding dress hunting in the cobbled streets of Paris. Having my mustard yellow peacoat in hand walking in heels that DONT hurt my feet. Finding vintage beauties that would grace my brick-exposed, humble brick and mortor in the creme de la creme Louvre and Tuileries District that I SOMEHOW am able to afford, haha! Feeling very Carrie Bradshaw-esque in Sex in the City. Having a fabulous apartment on a “weekly column” salary.
wind made for very pretty movement in this photo.
That may never be my life. Frankly, I dont think that’s anyones life, but a close second is being able to photograph these gorgeous vintage dresses on beautiful and real models. That’s what I got to do with Kim at Metropoliscure. Sierra’s tattooed covered body in a vintage wedding dress was a literal dream. So gorgeous. Walking art. Here are some of my favorites.
it was very windy so we she had to hold on to that cathedral style viel.
This one is VERY dramatic and I love it!
Sierra’s soon to be mother in law, Tina Lain, was also there rocking some cool and unique looks. We had some fun and took this of them. They look fabulous! Tina’s purple power suit and gucci gold platforms are EVERYTHING.
I want to print this out and frame it, its SO GOOD! They had other looks. I may create a blog post on those looks too. They were pretty cool, but this one. This one had my heart. I had to give it it’s own blog post.
Can I be as cool as Tina when I grow up?!
If you find any vintage wedding dresses at thrift shops or good wills CALL ME. I’m serious! Or shoot me an email/DM/Whatever! I want to buy and shoot all of them!!
